Mediation Disclosure

  • The mediator does not take sides

  • The mediator does not provide legal advice

  • Agreements reached through mediation are created by the participants

Mediation outcomes depend on participant engagement and willingness to communicate.

Confidentiality & Privacy

Conversations are treated with care and respect.

There are limits to confidentiality, including situations where there is concern about:

  • Immediate risk of serious harm to self or others

  • Abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable individual

  • Other situations where reporting is legally required

If safety concerns arise, the focus may shift toward helping individuals connect with appropriate support, trusted adults, or emergency resources.

This practice follows applicable mandatory reporting requirements.

If information shared indicates a credible risk of harm or legally reportable concerns, appropriate steps may be taken to support safety.
When possible, transparency and respect are prioritized in these situations.
