Group Facilitation

(By Request ONLY)

A trauma-informed, connection-centered space for learning, support, and growth.

I offer group facilitation by request for individuals, families, organizations, schools, and community groups seeking guided support, skill-building, and shared connection. These groups are designed collaboratively—built around the ages, needs, goals, and dynamics of the people requesting them.

At this time, I do not offer pre-scheduled or pre-structured groups. As my practice grows, structured group offerings will be added under a separate “Classes & Groups” page.

What I Facilitate

Groups may focus on support, education, communication skills, or emotional growth.
Each group is non-clinical, strengths-based, and trauma-informed.

  • Women’s support & empowerment circles

  • Trauma awareness & resilience education

  • Chronic illness, fatigue, or caregiver support

  • Community peer support gatherings

  • Youth & teen support spaces*

Possible Focus Areas

  • Life transitions & personal growth

  • Parenting & co-parenting support (non-mediation)

  • Navigating two-home families

  • Emotional regulation & nervous system basics

  • Healthy communication & boundary-setting

*Youth groups require parental consent, a safety plan, and developmentally appropriate content. These groups are support- and education-focused, not therapy.

How Group Facilitation Works

1. Submit a Group Request

Use the form below to share what kind of group you're looking for, who it’s for, and your goals.

2. Free 15-Min Consultation

We’ll talk through the group’s purpose, ages involved, emotional needs, and logistics (in-person or virtual, frequency, structure).

3. Group Structure Is Designed

I create a tailored outline based on the group’s needs, which may include:

  • Themes

  • Gentle structure or skill topics

  • Collaborative discussion points

  • Safety boundaries

  • Optional worksheets or activities

4. Participants Receive a Group Agreement

This outlines:

  • Group purpose

  • Confidentiality expectations

  • Scope & boundaries

  • Safety considerations

  • What the group is and is not

5. Facilitation Begins

Groups may be:

  • One-time sessions

  • Short series (2–4 sessions)

  • Ongoing (as interest and capacity allow)

Everything is trauma-informed, consent-based, and tailored.

6. Follow-Up & Optional Next Steps

If the group wishes to continue or explore a deeper topic, we reassess and adjust together.

What Group Facilitation Is (and Isn’t)

Group Facilitation Is:

  • Peer-supported

  • Trauma-informed

  • Educational & skill-building

  • Empowering, collaborative, and strengths-focused

  • A structured yet compassionate environment

  • A space where everyone’s voice matters

Group Facilitation Is Not:

  • Therapy

  • Crisis intervention

  • Clinical treatment

  • A replacement for mediation or legal process

  • A place for addressing acute conflict between participants

Groups are designed to support well-being, learning, and growth—not to solve disputes between members.

Who Can Request a Group

  • Individuals wanting a support circle

  • Parents or co-parents

  • Schools, teachers, or student support staff

  • Community organizations

  • Faith-based groups

  • Teen/tween groups (through parent request)

  • Family systems navigating change

  • Wellness groups

  • Peer circles

If you're unsure whether your idea fits—ask! Most groups can be adapted.

Pricing

Pricing depends on:

  • Number of sessions

  • Size of group

  • Virtual vs in-person

  • Materials needed

  • Travel (if outside Sidney area)

General guide:

  • Support Groups: Sliding scale or by donation

  • Structured Series: Flat rate per group

  • Private Family/Unit Groups: Quoted individually

Cost will always be discussed openly before scheduling.
