The Re5ive Framework

A safety-first, non-linear approach to navigating change

Re5ive is the framework that guides how support is offered at Bridging Seasons. It recognizes that meaningful action can only happen when safety, regulation, and understanding are present first.

Rather than pushing for solutions, Re5ive honors where a person is now—and supports movement forward at a pace that respects the nervous system, lived experience, and season of life.

Re5ive is not a checklist. It is a gentle cycle.

Many people arrive in moments of transition carrying fear, shame, urgency, or pressure to “do better” quickly.

When action is pushed before safety, those patterns tend to deepen rather than resolve.

Re5ive slows the process down so that insight, choice, and direction can emerge from a grounded place—rather than from survival mode.

Why We Don’t Push Action First

How Re5ive Is Used

Re5ive is used within facilitated peer support, mediation, and guided conversations

  • It adapts to the needs of individuals, families, and groups

  • Movement through the framework is non-linear and responsive, not prescriptive

  • Application is shaped by context, safety, and consent

While elements of Re5ive may feel intuitive, the framework is most effective when explored with support rather than applied as a self-guided method.
